Supported Employment

HPA offers supported employment opportunities to people with disabilities, providing workplace training and ongoing support.

Kokoda Industries is a medium sized workshop manufacturing a range of timber, steel and aluminum products including parkland furniture, grandstand seating, pallets, lattice, survey pegs, sprinkler stands and other products as commissioned. Shop the range now.

Ausdesigns is an industrial sewing and printing business specialising in the manufacture of indigenous print conference bags, promotional bags and a wide range of gift/souvenir products. Ausdesigns provides high-quality screen printing, digital printing, and embroidery. Supplying promotional products, hats, sportswear, Hi-Visibility wear, work wear.  Assembly and collating work and confidential document shredding is also undertaken.

Employment Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for employment with HPA the following requirements must be met;

  • Age 16 or over and eligible for a Disability Support Pension.
  • Able to work for at least 8 hours per week
  • Demonstrate a desire to work in supported employment

Admission Procedure & Application Process

Upon your inquiry, an Application Form will be sent to you for completion.

A meeting will be arranged when a suitable position becomes available to discuss your eligibility and the availability of current employment options.

Once you have attended the meeting, an assessment will be made to ensure that the service has the resources to meet your individual required level of training and support.
